Winnie is a 7-9 year old female mix. She came to us as an owner surrender, as another rescue was able to take her recent litter of healthy pups. Winnie is now spayed, fully vetted and ready to find a home of her own. She is crate trained, house trained and working on her basic commands. She knows sit and is always trying to please. Leash walking is coming along, though she still feels the need to pull. Winnie is apprehensive of other dogs yet, likely related to her previous life as an outdoor dog on a reservation. We are continuing to build trust and work on slow intros with other dogs.

Daffy

Daffy the Bluetick Coonhound is back with us. Daffy is working through some separation anxiety issues. We are learning that she does not do well without another dog. Daffy is housetrained though requires a specific schedule as she is decompressing and being reassured she is a good girl and is safe. She is spayed and fully vetted. She is also crate trained. Daffy is the very BEST snuggler!

Daffy came to us as a young mother, found as a stray. Though we will never know her history, we are helping her to write her future.
