Smokey

Smokey joined the sanctuary for hospice care after his original owners went to a nursing facility and passed away. He is a 15 year old coonhound that is new to being a house dog and we are happy to have him join our warm and cozy space.

Smokey is a super chill, quiet boy, that is the soundest of sleepers! We take that as a good sign that reassures us he is comfortable. Smokey does have a large tumor off of his back end that amazingly does not bother him, and only requires additional cleaning and monitoring for changes. Welcome to your retirement Smokey, we are blessed to have you with us!
